If you decide to move elsewhere, we will not obstruct you. Here is how to leave cleanly.
TAKE YOUR DATA
cPanel > Backup > Download a Full Account Backup. This includes files, databases, email and settings, and most hosts can restore it directly.
If your new host offers a migration service, give them your cPanel credentials and they will handle the transfer.
EMAIL NEEDS ATTENTION
Full account backups include mailboxes, but not every host restores them cleanly. If your mail matters, also download it locally using an IMAP client such as Thunderbird before you move.
DOMAINS
If the domain is registered with us and you want it elsewhere, request an EPP or authorisation code from the Client Area and unlock the domain. Transfers typically take five to seven days for most extensions. Start this before you cancel anything.
SEQUENCE
- Set up the new hosting and restore the site there.
- Test it thoroughly.
- Change nameservers.
- Wait a week for propagation and confirm email is arriving at the new host.
- Only then cancel your service with us.
Cancelling first means downtime and possible permanent data loss. Always overlap.
