State allergens clearly on the menu, or state how customers can ask.
Get this right. The consequences of an error are serious.
THE MENU AS TEXT
Not only as a PDF or image. It must be readable on a phone and by assistive technology.
Also a practical matter: a PDF menu loses you customers.
DELIVERY
Areas, costs, timescales, and what happens if delivery fails.
Realistic timescales, particularly at peak periods.
ORDER ACCEPTANCE
State when an order is accepted: on payment, or on your confirmation.
That matters when you cannot fulfil.
CANCELLATION
State whether an order can be cancelled and until when.
Food orders are frequently non-cancellable once preparation begins. Say so.
REGISTRATION AND HYGIENE
Display any registrations or certifications. Customers look for them.
