Checking the records that matter.

WHAT TO CHECK

MX records exist and point at the correct hostname That hostname resolves to an address Exactly one SPF record exists A DKIM record exists at the expected name A DMARC record, if you use one

WHERE TO CHECK

A DNS lookup tool, querying your authoritative nameservers.

Several online tools check all mail records at once and report problems.

WHAT CPANEL TELLS YOU

Email Deliverability shows expected versus published, and flags problems with a clear indication.

That screen is the fastest diagnosis available and most people never open it.

READING A MESSAGE'S HEADERS

Send to a Gmail address, open the message, and view the original.

It states SPF, DKIM and DMARC results explicitly.

All three should pass. Any that does not is your problem.

WHAT THIS DISTINGUISHES

A DNS problem, where records are wrong or missing A routing problem, where records are right and the cPanel setting is wrong A reputation problem, where everything authenticates and mail is still filtered

Three different causes, and the checks separate them.
