Explaining what they are paying for.
THE PROBLEM
Hosting looks like a commodity. A client comparing your price to an international host sees a large difference and no obvious reason.
WHAT TO EXPLAIN
What is actually included: support from a person, maintenance, monitoring, backups, local presence.
Not specifications, which they cannot evaluate.
THE FRAMING THAT WORKS
"You are paying for someone who answers when your site is down, knows your site, and fixes it."
Not "we offer 10GB of SSD storage".
WHEN A CLIENT MENTIONS A CHEAPER OPTION
Acknowledge it honestly. Cheaper hosting exists and it is genuinely cheaper.
Explain what differs, and let them decide.
Arguing that cheap hosting is bad is unconvincing and frequently untrue.
WHAT NOT TO DO
Match the price. You cannot sustain it, and the client learns your prices are negotiable.
WHEN TO LET THEM GO
A client who only wants the lowest price is not your client. They will leave for the next cheaper option regardless.
WHAT RETAINS THE RIGHT CLIENTS
Demonstrated value. Resolve something quickly, once, and the price question disappears.
