Monitoring Your Reseller Account Print

  • 0

Watching the whole allocation.

WHAT TO WATCH

Total disk against your allocation Total bandwidth Number of accounts against the limit Individual accounts approaching their limits Resource usage across the whole reseller account

WHERE

WHM > List Accounts shows disk and bandwidth per account.

Your own cPanel or reseller statistics show the total.

THE RESOURCE POINT

Your allocation carries CPU and memory limits shared across all your clients.

One client's badly built or attacked site can affect everyone on your allocation.

That is the part new resellers do not anticipate.

WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT

Identify heavy accounts and address them: caching, plugin removal, or an upgrade.

A client consuming disproportionate resources should either be fixed or moved.

MONTHLY REVIEW

Total usage, growth rate, and any account growing unexpectedly.

WHEN TO UPGRADE

Before reaching the limit, not after. A reseller account at its disk limit affects every client simultaneously.

TELLING US

If usage is growing, open a ticket before it becomes urgent.
