Email Sending Limits and Our Spam Policy Print

Shared hosting enforces hourly sending limits. They protect the server's mail reputation for every customer on it.

THE RULES

Send only to people who asked to hear from you. A list you bought, scraped or collected from business cards is not a list you have permission to email. Every marketing message must include a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribes must be honoured promptly. Do not use a false or misleading From address or subject line. Do not send bulk mail through your hosting mailbox. Use a dedicated provider such as SendGrid, Brevo or Mailgun, which is built for volume and manages deliverability.

WHY THE LIMIT EXISTS

All accounts on a server share an outbound mail reputation. One account sending spam gets the server's address listed on blocklists, and every other customer's legitimate mail starts landing in spam folders. Limits stop that before it happens.

IF YOU HIT THE LIMIT

Sending pauses until the hour rolls over. Repeated breaches trigger a review.

If you are hitting limits without sending campaigns, your account is almost certainly compromised or a form is being abused. Open a ticket rather than asking for a higher limit.
