Cloudflare Says the Site Is Fine and It Is Not Print

When the dashboard disagrees with reality.

THE SITUATION

Cloudflare reports normal operation, and visitors report problems.

THE LIKELY EXPLANATIONS

Cached content being served while our server is failing, so Cloudflare sees no errors The problem affects only logged-in visitors, whose requests bypass cache The problem is in the browser, from a script rather than a server response The problem affects only certain regions

WHAT TO CHECK

Our logs: cPanel > Metrics > Errors. If errors are recorded there, the problem is real regardless of what Cloudflare shows.

Test as a logged-out visitor in a private window, and as a logged-in one.

THE CACHING MASK

A cached homepage serving normally while everything dynamic fails is a genuinely confusing state.

Enable development mode temporarily to bypass cache and see the real behaviour.

WHAT VISITORS SEE

Ask one specifically: what page, what device, what happens, what is the exact message.

Vague reports are difficult to act on.

THE RELIABLE TEST

Pause Cloudflare. If the problem becomes visible, caching was masking it.
