Two smaller protective features.
EMAIL OBFUSCATION
Hides email addresses in your page source from scrapers, while displaying them normally to visitors.
It works by replacing the address with script that reconstructs it.
THE CAUTION
It can interfere with anything expecting the address in the page source, and occasionally displays oddly.
If an address renders strangely after enabling Cloudflare, this is why.
Modest benefit. Most spam to a published address arrives regardless.
HOTLINK PROTECTION
Prevents other sites embedding your images, which would consume your bandwidth to serve their pages.
THE CAUTION
It can block legitimate uses: search engine image results, social media previews, and your own content served from another domain.
If your images stop appearing in link previews when shared, check this.
WHETHER TO ENABLE THEM
Hotlink protection if you have a genuine problem with image theft, and test social sharing afterwards.
Email obfuscation is low risk and low benefit.
Neither is important enough to troubleshoot at length.
