Reading the dashboard.

REQUESTS

Total, and the proportion served from cache.

A high cache hit ratio means the CDN is working. A low one means most requests still reach us.

BANDWIDTH

How much was served by Cloudflare versus fetched from us.

The saved bandwidth is the clearest measurable benefit.

THREATS

Requests blocked or challenged, with a breakdown by type and country.

Frequently reveals how much automated traffic a small site actually receives.

STATUS CODES

A rise in 5xx errors indicates trouble, either at our end or between Cloudflare and us.

TRAFFIC BY COUNTRY

Useful for understanding your audience, and for deciding whether country-based rules make sense.

BOTS

Automated versus human traffic. The proportion surprises most site owners.

WHAT TO ACT ON

A very low cache hit ratio, which means the configuration is not doing much A rise in errors Unexpected traffic from somewhere with no plausible reason

WHAT NOT TO OVERINTERPRET

Cloudflare's visitor counts differ from your analytics. They measure different things.
