ADDING EACH DOMAIN
Each is a separate zone with its own records and its own settings.
Settings are not shared. Configuring SSL mode on one does not affect another.
That is the most common oversight: a second domain added and left on the default Flexible SSL, producing a redirect loop on that site only.
A CHECKLIST PER DOMAIN
Records reviewed against the original zone Proxy states correct, particularly mail SSL mode set to Full (strict) Any firewall rules you rely on
KEEPING THEM CONSISTENT
Cloudflare offers configuration rules on some plans that apply across zones.
On the free plan, you configure each individually. A written checklist prevents drift.
PARKED AND REDIRECTED DOMAINS
A domain you own and redirect elsewhere still needs correct configuration if it is at Cloudflare.
A redirect rule at Cloudflare handles this cleanly.
FOR RESELLERS AND DEVELOPERS
A client's domain should be in the client's own Cloudflare account, not yours, for the same reason their domain should be registered in their name.
If it is in yours, agree in writing what happens when the relationship ends.
