PURGE EVERYTHING
Clears the whole cache. Simple, and it means every visitor's next request comes to us, which briefly increases load.
Fine for a small site. On a very busy one, purge selectively.
PURGING SPECIFIC FILES
Enter the full URLs. More precise and avoids the load spike.
THE ORDER WHEN TROUBLESHOOTING
Purge your application's cache first, then Cloudflare, then your browser.
Clearing Cloudflare while your own cache still serves the old version achieves nothing.
DEVELOPMENT MODE
Bypasses cache for three hours. Useful while making a series of changes.
It expires automatically, and people forget it was on.
WHAT PURGING DOES NOT CLEAR
Visitors' browser caches. Those expire on their own schedule.
