THE CHECKS
Is the gateway enabled in the payment settings Are the API keys entered, and are they the live keys rather than test keys Is the site on HTTPS, which most gateways require Does the gateway support the order currency Is there a minimum or maximum order value configured
CURRENCY
Most Nigerian gateways expect NGN. An order in another currency may cause the method to be hidden rather than to show an error.
HTTPS
Gateways refuse to operate over http. Run AutoSSL and enable Force HTTPS.
TEST MODE
If the gateway is still in test mode, it may not appear to ordinary customers, or it may appear and not take real payments.
Confirm which mode is active.
CONFLICTING PLUGINS
A checkout customisation or page builder can prevent gateways rendering. Disable such plugins temporarily and retest.
TESTING PROPERLY
In a private browsing window, as a guest, on a phone. Not as an administrator.
