A file could not be loaded.

WHAT IT MEANS

The code tried to load a file and could not find it or could not read it.

THE MESSAGE NAMES THE PATH

Read it. The path is usually the answer.

THE COMMON CAUSES

The file is genuinely missing, from an incomplete upload or a deletion The path is wrong, frequently an absolute path from another server Permissions prevent reading A plugin or theme was deleted while something still references it

AFTER A MIGRATION

Absolute paths from the old server are a frequent cause. A path containing another hosting username will never resolve.

Look for hardcoded paths in configuration files and correct them.

CHECKING WHETHER THE FILE EXISTS

Use File Manager and navigate to the path in the error. If it is not there, that is the problem.

PERMISSIONS

Files should be 644, directories 755. Check ownership as well.

AFTER DELETING SOMETHING

If you removed a plugin or theme by deleting files rather than uninstalling, references may remain. Restore the files, uninstall properly, then delete.
