A certificate check failed.
WHAT IT MEANS
The browser could not verify the certificate. One of three checks failed: trust, validity dates, or hostname match.
FINDING THE SPECIFIC REASON
Click Advanced. Browsers show a code beneath the general message identifying the cause.
THE COMMON CAUSES
The certificate expired It does not cover the hostname being visited, such as www when only the bare domain is covered The intermediate certificate is missing, which affects mobile devices most Your own device's clock is wrong
THE FIX
cPanel > SSL/TLS Status. Tick every domain, subdomain and alias, and run AutoSSL.
Wait a few minutes and retest in a private window.
IF AUTOSSL FAILS
Click the domain name for the stated reason. Usually the domain does not resolve here, or Cloudflare is proxying and blocking validation.
IF IT AFFECTS ONLY YOU
Check your computer's date and time. A clock badly out of step rejects every certificate on the internet.
WHY IT MATTERS URGENTLY
Visitors do not click through. Treat it as the site being down.
