Locked out entirely.

THE SITUATIONS

Forgotten password with an unreachable registered email The account holder has left the business A dispute with a developer who holds the account Suspension for non-payment

IF IT IS A PASSWORD

Use the reset. If the registered email is on a domain that is itself suspended or expired, open a ticket from any address explaining the situation.

We will verify your identity before making changes, which deliberately takes time.

IF THE ACCOUNT IS IN SOMEONE ELSE'S NAME

This is the difficult case. The registered holder is who we can deal with.

If you are the business and the account is in a former employee's or developer's name, you will need to demonstrate entitlement. Expect to provide evidence.

IF IT IS NON-PAYMENT

Pay the invoice. Data remains intact during suspension.

WHY OFF-SERVER BACKUPS MATTER

If you hold a full backup elsewhere, you can rebuild on a new account while the access question is resolved. That turns a crisis into an inconvenience.

PREVENTING THIS

Register accounts in the business's name, with a business email address More than one person should have access Keep backups you control
