The complete restore.

THE RESTRICTION

You cannot restore a full cPanel account backup yourself through the interface. That is a cPanel limitation.

HOW TO DO IT

  1. Upload the archive to your home directory, through File Manager or FTP.
  2. Open a ticket telling us the filename and that you want it restored.
  3. We restore it.

WHAT IT RESTORES

Files, databases, email accounts and contents, forwarders, filters, cron jobs and DNS records.

BEFORE REQUESTING IT

Understand that this returns the account to the backup's state. Anything added since is lost.

If there is content you need from the current state, export it first.

TELL US WHAT YOU WANT

Sometimes you need only part of it: one database, or one site's files. Say so, and we can restore selectively rather than overwriting everything.

TIMING

Large accounts take time to restore. If the timing matters, say so.

AFTERWARDS

Test everything: the site, email sending and receiving, cron jobs, and any integration.
