WHAT IT PROVIDES
Browsable restore points by date, with selective restoration of files, databases, email accounts, cron jobs and DNS records.
FINDING IT
cPanel > JetBackup, where your plan includes it.
RESTORING FILES
Choose File Backups, select a restore point by date, browse to what you need, and restore.
You can restore a single file or an entire directory, which is considerably less disruptive than restoring everything.
RESTORING A DATABASE
Choose Database Backups, select the date, and restore.
RESTORING EMAIL
Where included, mailboxes can be restored individually.
THE IMPORTANT RULE
For a site rollback, restore files and database from the SAME date. Mixing dates leaves the application inconsistent in ways that are difficult to diagnose.
RETENTION
Finite, and set by your plan. Check how far back restore points go before relying on it.
