Uploads failing or rejected.
FILE TOO LARGE
Raise upload_max_filesize and post_max_size in cPanel > MultiPHP INI Editor. post_max_size must be larger than upload_max_filesize.
The application may have its own separate limit.
UPLOAD FAILS WITH NO ERROR
Frequently a timeout on a large file. Raise max_execution_time.
Or the destination directory is not writable. Check permissions and ownership.
PERMISSION DENIED
The upload directory needs 755 with correct ownership. Not 777.
If the application cannot write with correct ownership, the ownership is wrong rather than the permissions being too strict.
DISK OR INODE FULL
A full account silently fails uploads. Check the cPanel statistics panel for both disk and inode usage.
Inodes are hit more often than disk on sites with many small files.
WRONG FILE TYPE REJECTED
The application's own validation. Check its settings for permitted types.
UPLOADS APPEAR TO WORK AND FILES ARE MISSING
Check where they actually went. A misconfigured upload path writes them somewhere unexpected.
