How Domain Offers Work
Some domain listings may not display a fixed price. Instead, the seller has chosen to invite offers and negotiate directly with interested buyers.
Making an offer is the first step toward reaching a deal.
Making an Offer
Open the domain listing and select Make an Offer. Enter the amount you're willing to pay and, if you wish, include a short message for the seller.
A brief, genuine note explaining your interest in the domain can make your offer more meaningful than simply submitting a number.
What Happens After You Make an Offer?
The seller can:
-
Accept your offer
-
Decline your offer
-
Counter with a different price
If the seller sends a counteroffer, you can accept it, submit another counteroffer, or allow it to expire.
All negotiation activity is kept securely in your ZillionKingHost client area, allowing both parties to review the conversation and offer history.
When an Offer Is Accepted
An accepted offer or counteroffer becomes a completed sale agreement under the marketplace rules.
An invoice will be generated for the agreed amount. Once payment is completed, the normal payment and domain transfer process begins.
Only make an offer for an amount you're prepared and able to pay.
Offers Have Expiration Deadlines
Offers and counteroffers may include an expiration deadline.
If no action is taken before the deadline, the offer automatically expires and the negotiation is closed. You can submit a new offer and start the negotiation again at any time, subject to the listing's availability.
Additional Seller Requirements
Some sellers may require additional steps before revealing certain domain information, reviewing an offer, or continuing negotiations.
For example, a seller may require:
-
Account verification
-
Acceptance of confidentiality terms
-
Additional buyer information
These requirements are determined by the seller and are part of the individual listing's conditions.
Tips for Negotiating
Make a Reasonable Opening Offer
Start with a price that a serious seller could reasonably consider. Extremely low or unrealistic offers may end negotiations before they begin.
Don't Reveal Your Urgency
If you need the domain urgently, there's usually no advantage in making that clear during negotiations. Focus on the value of the domain and the offer you're prepared to make.
Consider More Than Price
Depending on the seller's terms, you can ask whether alternative arrangements are available, such as staged payments or other agreed payment terms.
Any alternative arrangement must be explicitly offered and accepted by the seller and comply with the marketplace's rules.
ZillionKingHost's Role
ZillionKingHost provides the marketplace infrastructure, processes the transaction, and facilitates the domain transfer.
We do not set seller prices or negotiate on behalf of buyers or sellers.
The final price is determined by the agreement between you and the seller.
Make an offer you're comfortable with, negotiate respectfully, and review all terms before accepting a deal.
